If you must cancel...
We understand that events do happen that may require you to reschedule or cancel your participation in a scheduled Getting Over Stage Fright Workshop or coaching session. We have made every effort to develop a fair cancellation and reschedule policy.

About Our Cancellation Policy

For Getting Over Stage Fright Connecticut-based Workshops:

Credit card information is required at time of registration, although your card is not charged until we have full enrollment for the workshop. Credit card payments or checks are accepted. Rescheduling and refund requests will be honored within the following time frames (less a fee):

Two weeks or more prior to the workshop:
$75 fee for rescheduling requests
$150 fee for refund requests

For the last two weeks prior to the workshop (up to 48 hours prior to the workshop):
$100 fee for rescheduling requests
$175 fee for refund requests

Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled workshop will be charged the full tuition rate with a $100 credit towards the next scheduled workshop. There is no refund or credit for "no-shows" the day of the workshop.

Please note that if you cannot attend the scheduled workshop and can find a replacement to take your place, there will be no administrative charge for the replacement. Rescheduling must take place within six months after date of issue.

For Getting Over Stage Fright Workshops held at all locations outside of Connecticut:

Our cancellation policy for workshops held outside of Connecticut is based on the guarantees required of In The SpotLight by the hotels the event is being held at and the higher costs associated with these workshops at other locations:

Credit card information is required at time of registration, although your card is not charged until we have full enrollment for the workshop. Credit card payments or checks are accepted. Rescheduling and refund requests will be honored six weeks or more prior to out-of-state workshops (less a fee):

$100 fee for rescheduling requests
$200 fee for refund requests

No rescheduling or cancellation refunds are issued for cancellation within the six weeks prior to the workshop. Please note that if you cannot attend the scheduled workshop and can find a replacement to take your place, there will be no administrative charge for the replacement. Rescheduling must take place within six months after date of issue.

For Consultations and Coaching:

It is requested that you give at least 24 hours notice if you cannot keep an appointment time that you have set up with Janet. Please note that there is a late cancel charge of $50 for cancellations less than 24 hours.
